Welcome to Table2Ground™
Your NextGen On-Site Commercial Composting Solutions
Our mission is to provide innovative solutions that divert food waste from landfills and support sustainably responsible food waste producers.
Table2Ground™ (T2G™) will change the way commercial food waste producers dispose of their waste. Right now, most of it goes to landfills, making up 40-50% of the waste stream and generating 3.8 pounds of greenhouse gases for every pound that decomposes in landfills – globally, totaling 67 million metric tons/year. That’s not sustainable!
Food waste in a landfill can take months or years to decompose and produces methane, a gas 30 times more potent than CO2, that is released into the atmosphere, trapping heat, and contributing to climate change. The T2G “Plan, Plug, & Play™” NextGen decentralized on-site ISO-certified commercial waste management solutions divert food waste from landfills in a 24-hour cycle. We call it “The Grounder™”. Our technologically advanced aerobic machines are equipped with custom sensors, process controllers, and are ISO 9001 certified with a proven track record since 1988. It achieves a remarkable 80-90% volume reduction at the source itself. Thus, minimizing methane gas emissions, removing the need to haul food waste off-site, and producing nutrient-rich pre-compost. This can then be cured and used locally, creating a sustainable resource for communities.
You’ll also have superior service and results tracking so you can measure your impact.
How “The Grounder™” Works
The Grounder™ systematically transforms food waste into valuable pre-compost or a soil conditioner within a 24-hour cycle, reducing volume by 80-90%. Whether you're adding browns or enzymes, the process is straightforward, ensuring efficient and eco-friendly waste diversion.
The Grounder™ Composter Process Overview:
Food waste is loaded into the Grounder’s™ shredder, followed by browns. This step ensures the carbon-nitrogen balance essential for effective pre-composting. The heater is initiated, allowing you to fine-tune the temperature or humidity through the user-friendly PLC for best results. As the temperature and humidity are adjusted, the pre-composting cycle happens. The Grounder™ autonomously runs its 24-hour cycle, and automatically turns off when complete. Just place a bin below the unloading door, unlatch it and the waste is expelled with the push of a button.
The process for the Grounder™ Aerobic Biodigester is slightly different. It has a mixing tank with humidity and heat sensors, mixing blades, moisture control system and air ventilation system.
When organic waste is added, it goes directly into the mixing tank. An artificial atmosphere is created to work with our special enzyme mixture to quickly decompose the organic waste into a soil conditioner in the same 24-hour cycle process as the Grounder™ Composter.

Estimate Your Food Waste
The first step in understanding what to do with food waste is understanding how much your business actually creates. You can call us to do a full food audit, but to get a quick read on it we recommend the RIT/New York State Pollution Prevention Institute interactive tool that can estimate how much food waste your business might be generating based on data from similar businesses.
Click the link, input the easy parameters and gain access to valuable data that can help you streamline operations, minimize waste, and select the ideal Table2Ground™ solution to effectively address your food waste challenges.
